The Monroe County Department of health is conducting a community assessment to understand the health needs of Monroe County residents post-Hurricane Irma on Tuesday May 21st, Wednesday May 22nd and Thursday May 23rd from 2 – 7 pm. Health Department staff members will be paired with volunteers to go to Monroe County resident’s homes to conduct the survey.
The Department of Health is asking for Volunteers to assist. If you’re interested in lending a hand, please call us at 305-619-8087 or send an email to DOHMonroe@flhealth.org.
Additionally the Health Department asks us to help inform the community that this survey is happening and encourage people to participate if a survey team comes to their door.
The information gleaned from the survey can assist the community in knowing what additional resources are needed in the community post Hurricane Irma.
